Advanced Geospatial Solutions Limited (AGS) was established in 2000 (then called SCS Mothership Limited). The company is a Joint Venture that builds upon the advanced 3D gaming skills of Mothership Technology Limited and the in-depth technical knowledge of the defence sector provided by Systems Consultants Services Limited.

RealityMap™ was initially developed to support growing demands within the military for enhanced situational awareness tools for large-scale operational planning use.

AGS’ world leading products were quickly recognised within the defence sector.  In 2003, Lockheed Martin incorporated RealityMap™ into their Land Environment Air Picture Provision (LEAPP) solution which was successfully down-selected for further development by the UK Ministry of Defence in 2006.

In 2004, AGS began to work with Cunning Running Software Limited to use the 3D power of RealityMap™ to enhance their SAM-PRAS product. This application assists security planners in the designation of high risk Anti-Air Missile danger areas and is now in operation in the UK and abroad.

In 2005, AGS brought in a new management team to deal with the growing demand for their suite of 3D visualisation products; to expand their research and development efforts; and to drive the expansion of the Reality™ product line into the non-defence market place.

Throughout 2006, in addition to growing the traditional markets, AGS has worked alongside leading Location Based Service providers and maritime organisations to bring its high performance RealityMobile™ and RealityChart™ 3D applications to market.

AGS is based in Henley-on-Thames, 45 miles west of Central London.
